Haiku Poem
1. All day the wind blew,
the sun shines so bright,
and the clouds went wild.

that you want me,
then push me around.
3. There was time indeed,
they used to shake hand with their hearts,
but that's already gone.
4. The clouds are black all the night,
thunder brings no rain,
that break the deafening silence.
5. One morning I got up
to get orange at the kitchen,
when I saw the cats.

it turns into a twigs,
it was only a butterfly.

but I keep on believing
that you love me.

all night long,I could have lain
next to you forever.
10. I know tomorrow
soon, would come and still we are
couldn't be together.
11. For every tears dried,
there's always you to turn to
and you wiped it.
12. Every secrets I whispered,
I kept it with you,
there you are to listen.
13. Faraway you may go,
words buried my heart,
but can't depart us.
14. Search not for the best
but the one who never quits,
that leave footprints in your heart.
15. As snow falls on the sidewalk
for feelings are like change,
and one season never last.
16. As I walk away
and never look at your back,
our warm feelings become numb.
17. Now at last I've shared,
how blessed am I we met,
no words would fit.

they just say it is usual,
but seem to be special.

and think what's the best.

and very cold I got up,
found myself chilling

the ship blew it's horn,
missing again the thrill of nights voyage.

that sparkled from a distance
and sweet smell of air.

with ease as the sea
rolled,crested with steady rhythm.

that dampened my face
brought semblance of excitement.

on my cheeks,soothed
my whole being,felt strength.

as the wind were swayed
in gentle breeze.

V. Philippine Literature
V. Philippine Literature
Philippine literature is the literature associated with the Philippines and includes the legends of prehistory, and the colonial legacy of the Philippines. Most of the notable literature of the Philippines was written during the Spanish period and the first half of the 20th century in Spanish language. Philippine literature is written in Spanish, English, Tagalog, or other native Philippine languages.
Philippine Literature is a diverse and rich group of works that has evolved side-by-side with the country’s history. Literature had started with fables and legends made by the ancient Filipinos long before the arrival of Spanish influence. The main themes of Philippine literature focus on the country’s pre-colonial cultural traditions and the socio-political histories of its colonial and contemporary traditions.
It is not a secret that many Filipinos are unfamiliar with much of the country's literary heritage, especially those that were written long before the Spaniards arrived in our country. This is due to the fact that the stories of ancient time were not written, but rather passed on from generation to generation through word of mouth. Only during 1521 did the early Filipinos became acquainted with literature due to the influence of the Spaniards on us. But the literature that the Filipinos became acquainted with are not Philippine-made, rather, they were works of Spanish authors.
So successful were the efforts of colonists to blot out the memory of the country's largely oral past that present-day Filipino writers, artists and journalists are trying to correct this inequity by recognizing the country's wealth of ethnic traditions and disseminating them in schools through mass media.
The rise of nationalistic pride in the 1960s and 1970s also helped bring about this change of attitude among a new breed of Filipinos concerned about the "Filipino identity."
